The Huawei Watch GT 7 is a sports smartwatch sold in 46 mm and 41 mm, with a GT 7 Pro above it. Huawei's UK page puts the emphasis on battery, a Physical Readiness score, and deep skiing and cycling modes. On 26 October 2026 the 46 mm Black, ASIN B0HC6X2Y2K, was in stock at £279.99, sold by Amazon. The 41 mm Blue, B0HC787RV3, was £279.00. The GT 7 Pro 46 mm Black, B0HC9F8Q9D, was £379.97. The Pro in Green, B0HC6QR531, was £356.19.
UK coverage of the 2 September 2026 launch, including Mobile World Live and Trusted Reviews, quoted RRPs of £279.99 for the GT 7 and £379.99 for the Pro. Amazon's Pro Black price that October day was a few pence under the quoted RRP. Price correct as of 26 October 2026.
AIToys.co.uk selects and researches this page from Huawei's UK product page, Huawei's comparison of the Pro, and the Amazon listings. It is not a first-hand wear. There is no score. For a cuff on the wrist, read the Huawei Watch D3 review. The shortlist is the best AI smartwatches and fitness trackers UK 2026.

It suits someone who wants a metal watch to last through a trip, on either an iPhone or an Android phone, and who will accept Huawei's app install. It is a weak fit if you need a regulated blood pressure cuff, an iPhone-only health app, or a chat assistant in the style of Gemini.

Battery by size
Huawei's lab figures are the reason the GT 7 is on a battery shortlist. They are lab figures. Always-on display, GPS workouts and speaker calls shorten them.
| 46 mm | 41 mm | |
| Light use | Up to 21 days | Up to 14 days |
| Typical use | Up to 12 days | Up to 7 days |
| Always-on display | Up to 7 days | Up to 5 days |
| Trail running | Up to 51 hours | Up to 32 hours |
The 41 mm is about two-thirds of the 46 mm on those pairs (14 against 21, 32 hours against 51). The 41 mm Blue was only 99 pence less than the 46 mm Black on 26 October 2026. You are not saving meaningful money by going smaller. You are choosing a wrist size and giving up battery. If the 21-day line is why you clicked, buy the 46 mm and then decide whether you will actually wear it.

Physical Readiness, in plain terms
Physical Readiness is a score built from sleep, heart rate, heart-rate variability, activity and stress, after three days and nights of wear, on Huawei's description. Huawei says it is available via a software update in select markets only. Check the watch after it updates. A missing tile can be that market limit.
Huawei also says Health Insights are not intended for medical use. The score is a wellness summary of the sensors, not a doctor. There is no large language model on the UK page in the style of Gemini, Workout Buddy or Oura Advisor. "AI" here is Huawei's name for signal processing, including the Sunflower Positioning System and an AI-XDR algorithm in the GPS description. That is positioning language. It is not a chatbot. Any coaching text you do see is general wellness information, not medical advice, and it can be a poor summary of the week.
Health tracking and its limits
Huawei's footnote says this product is not a medical device. Keep that next to every heart tile.
Pulse wave arrhythmia analysis uses the optical sensor to flag a possible atrial fibrillation pattern. Huawei says it is not for under-18s, and that it is reference only. It is not an ECG. It is not a reason to start or stop a medicine. If the alert fires, speak to a GP. If you feel chest pain, breathless or faint, use emergency care.
TruSleep 5.0 is the sleep staging view. The emotional wellbeing app shows a mood-style reading and is a wellness feature. Health Community can share data with people you approve, up to 20. Leave it off if you do not want a family feed of your heart rate.
Blood pressure is not this watch. There is no cuff in the strap. Trend language, where a software update adds it, is not a measurement. The Watch D3 is the Huawei with the inflatable airbag and the CE-MDR wording Huawei attaches to that measurement. Buy the D3 for that job. Buy the GT 7 for battery and sport. Note the D3's own dispatch delay if you cross over: on 26 October 2026 Amazon showed the D3 Black listing as usually dispatched within one to two months.
A three-month Huawei Health+ trial is included, on Huawei's offer. Read what Health+ unlocks before the trial ends, and what the core watch still does if you do not continue it. This page does not have a confirmed UK monthly price for the paid tier. Check the app.
Skiing, cycling and running
Huawei lists indoor and outdoor skiing modes and 3,000 or more resort maps, delivered by a software update. Cycling gets climb previews. The broader list is 110 or more workout modes. Maps that arrive by update are not on the watch in the shop. Connect it, update it, and confirm the resort you care about is in the download before a trip.
GPS uses Huawei's Sunflower wording and the AI-XDR line above. Confirm the satellite list on Huawei's current spec table. The Product Reviewer video above is one GT 7 report. It is not a test by AIToys.
For a running-first Garmin at a lower price, the Forerunner 55 review is a different tool. For an AMOLED health watch with an optional AI tier, see the Venu 4 review.
What the GT 7 Pro adds
Huawei's comparison puts these on the GT 7 Pro, not on the standard GT 7: ECG analysis, a titanium case, a ceramic bezel, sapphire glass, golf maps, and a 40 metre free-diving mode. The standard GT 7's water line is 5 ATM and IP69, with Huawei's instruction to remove it for hot showers and saunas, and no diving.
The Pro Black was £379.97, about £100 over the GT 7 46 mm at £279.99. The Pro Green was £356.19, a smaller gap on that day. You are paying for ECG, harder glass, the case material and those sport extras. You are not paying for a different battery story unless Huawei's Pro sheet says so. Read that sheet. This page does not copy the 21-day quote onto the Pro without that confirmation.
ECG on the Pro is still a single-lead style trace with Huawei's market limits. The D3 review explains how Huawei treats ECG as reference in some contexts and as a regulated feature in others. Confirm the app is present in the UK after setup. It is not a heart-attack test. The standard GT 7 does not have this ECG. If someone tells you the GT 7 "has ECG", they mean the Pro.

GT 7 and GT 6
The previous GT 6 46 mm, ASIN B0FK9W6MX2, was £195.49 and in stock on 26 October 2026. That is £84.50 less than the GT 7 46 mm. Buy the GT 6 if you want Huawei's long-battery shape and you do not need the GT 7's readiness update, the newer ski maps, or the Pro's ECG. Buy the GT 7 if those are the features you came for. This page does not use third-party GT 5 listings.

Phone setup
Huawei says the watch works with Android 9 or later and iOS 13 or later through the Huawei Health app. On iPhone, the app is on the App Store. On Android in the UK, this site's D3 review and the smartwatch shortlist describe the install as AppGallery or Huawei's own download, not a normal Google Play listing. Confirm that path on your phone before you assume a Play search will find it. Third-party watch apps, where Huawei offers them, come through AppGallery.
Bluetooth calling needs the phone nearby. NFC payments, where Huawei lists Curve Pay on related watches, are a UK-specific check. Confirm the payment tile rather than assuming every GT feature from a Chinese launch video is in the UK build.
Account, data and privacy
You need a Huawei ID and Huawei Health. Heart rate, sleep, GPS tracks and the readiness score sync when the phone does. Health Community shares with followers you approve. That is an opt-in. The default should stay private until you want it.
Read Huawei's privacy notice for retention. Delete the account history when you stop. A wiped watch does not wipe the server. The UK smart device privacy guide covers passwords and recovery.
AI-style insight text, where an update shows it, is general wellness information, not medical advice.
Pros and cons

FAQ
Does the Huawei Watch GT 7 work with an iPhone?
Huawei says yes, with iOS 13 or later and the Huawei Health app. Android 9 or later is the other path. On Android, confirm you can install Huawei Health before you rely on sync.
How does the GT 7 compare with the GT 7 Pro?
The Pro was about £100 more in Black on 26 October 2026. Huawei's comparison adds ECG, titanium, a ceramic bezel, sapphire glass, golf maps and a 40 metre free-diving mode. The standard GT 7 is the 21-day battery watch without those extras.
Does the GT 7 have ECG?
The standard GT 7 has pulse wave arrhythmia alerts, for ages 18 and over, as a reference. ECG analysis is on the GT 7 Pro. Confirm the Pro app is offered on a UK account after setup.
Can I swim with it?
Huawei rates the GT 7 at 5 ATM and IP69, and says to remove it for hot showers and saunas, and not to dive with the standard model. The 40 metre free-diving mode is a Pro feature. Read Huawei's water page for the exact model before a pool or a dive.
How long does the battery last?
Huawei's lab quote for the 46 mm is up to 21 days of light use, 12 days typical, 7 days with the always-on display, and 51 hours of trail running. The 41 mm is up to 14, 7 and 5 days, and 32 hours. GPS and always-on use cut those numbers.
