RingConn Gen 3 Review UK 2026

RingConn Gen 3 is a titanium smart ring sold without a monthly fee. RingConn's pitch for this generation is vascular trend insights, sleep tools including a sleep apnoea assessment, and a haptic alert the earlier ring did not have. On 26 October 2026 size 8 in Royal Gold, ASIN B0GVSK978B, was in stock at £309.00 from the RingConn Official Store. Size 8 in Future Silver, B0GVSGY854, was the same £309.00. Each size and colour is its own listing. Choose your size on Amazon after you have measured.

AIToys.co.uk selects and researches this page from RingConn's Gen 3 page, RingConn's footnotes, and the Amazon UK listings. It is not a first-hand wear. There is no score. The wider ring list is the best smart rings UK 2026 guide.

It suits someone who wants sleep and daytime trends from a finger, hates a monthly fee, and will wear a plastic sizer for a day before ordering. It is a weak fit if you need a blood pressure number for a GP, if your size falls between RingConn's whole sizes, or if you are under 18. The app's age gate is RingConn's rule.

Vascular trends are not a blood pressure reading

RingConn combines night-time vascular load patterns, optional manual blood pressure inputs and lifestyle factors into a trend. The listing describes a one-time cuff calibration. You take a proper cuff reading, enter it, and the ring's later card is a trend around that anchor. It is not a new measurement every morning.

RingConn's own line is the one to keep: this is a health management device, not a medical device, and it does not provide blood pressure measurement or a medical diagnosis. If a card worries you, use a cuff and speak to your GP. Do not change medication from a ring.

A watch with an inflatable strap is a different product. The Huawei Watch D3 review covers the oscillometric cuff Huawei describes as CE-MDR certified for specified blood pressure checks. Gen 3 does not have that hardware. Buying the ring "for blood pressure" is a mismatch with RingConn's wording.

Sleep, and the sleep apnoea screen

The ring tracks sleep stages, heart rate, heart-rate variability, blood oxygen, stress and steps, on RingConn's feature list. Cycle and fertility tracking are also on that list. Those are wellness records. They are not a sleep clinic.

Sleep apnoea assessment is the card that needs the plain warning. RingConn cites a study with Shanghai Ruijin Hospital. RingConn also says the assessment is not a substitute for a professional medical diagnosis. A flag is a reason to speak to a clinician. It is not a diagnosis, and it is not a reason to buy or abandon a CPAP machine on your own. This page does not adopt RingConn's internal accuracy percentages. Where RingConn prints a figure from its own research, that figure is RingConn's.

RingConn Partner, the AI beta

There is no subscription for the core insights. There is also no promise that an AI chat is included for everyone. RingConn Partner is RingConn's AI assistant. RingConn's news post describes it as a beta in RingConn Lab that people apply for. It is not a default tab on day one.

Check availability in the UK. A beta you have to join can be full, region-locked, or still in review. Do not buy Gen 3 because a screenshot showed a chatbot. If you are accepted, the assistant reads ring data. AI guidance is general wellness information, not medical advice. It can misread a week of sleep. Leave the beta alone if you do not want a model summarising that file.

Battery and the charging case

RingConn quotes about 11 to 14 days on a charge, and about 10 to 12 days if vibration alerts stay on. The case is quoted at 150 days or more of total charge, which is the case's job between wall sockets, not 150 days on your finger. Vibration, extra sensor time and a loose fit change the result. A manufacturer quote is a lab pattern. Expect to learn your own gap after the first fortnight.

The ring itself is light. RingConn's range is about 2.5 to 3.5 g, in titanium. Weight is part of why people sleep in a ring when they will not sleep in a watch. It is also why sizing matters: a ring that spins will miss the optical path, and a ring that bites will come off at 2am.

Buy the sizing kit first

RingConn sizes run from 6 to 15, with no half sizes. The scale is RingConn's, not a high-street UK ring size. A ring that fits at a jeweller can be the wrong Gen 3 size. The sizing kit is ASIN B0GVJQKTH5, £2.99, in stock from the RingConn Official Store on 26 October 2026. The listing says the kit is for Gen 3 only. It is not compatible with other RingConn models.

Wear the sizer for 24 hours, including overnight, on the finger you will use. Fingers change with heat, salt and the time of day. Order the metal ring only after that, in the finish you want. Size 8 is the example on this page because it was the in-stock listing checked. It is not a suggestion that size 8 fits you.

Gen 3 costs £50 more than Gen 2 on those listings. The extra, in RingConn's material, is the vascular trend generation, the vibration motor and the battery quote. Gen 2 Air at £179 is the thin, cheaper RingConn if you do not need the newer cards. Confirm the Air's sensor list on its own page before you trade down. The smart rings guide holds the Air note.

Two years next to an Oura ring

Oura's scores and advisor need a membership. The Oura Ring 5 review uses Boots' published UK pair: £5.99 a month or £69.99 a year after the first month. Two years at the annual figure is £139.98. A Silver Ring 5 at £399 plus that membership is about £539. Gen 3 at £309 has no equivalent fee in RingConn's description.

The gap is about £230 before anyone compares sensors, sizing or an app they prefer. It is not a claim that the rings collect the same thing. It is the sum to do before the sticker prices look similar. Check Oura's membership page on the day, because a third-party article has quoted a different annual figure. This page does not promise either price will hold.

Water

RingConn rates Gen 3 at IP68 and 10 ATM, and says it is not for diving or high-pressure water. Hands, rain and a swim that matches that rating are the use RingConn is describing. Saunas, hot tubs and a pressurised hose are the uses that cook batteries and seals on smart rings in general. Take it off for those. The charging case is not a swimming accessory.

Account, data and privacy

You need a RingConn account. The ring syncs to the phone app. RingConn says the data is encrypted and under your control. That is RingConn's claim. Read the current privacy notice for where the file lives and how deletion works. A reset of the ring is not the same as deleting the account.

If you join the Partner beta, that assistant reads ring data. Cycle and fertility notes are sensitive. Do not share the login. Export or delete before you sell the ring.

The UK smart device privacy guide covers the password and recovery steps. AI guidance, if you use the beta, is general wellness information, not medical advice.

FAQ

Does RingConn Gen 3 need a subscription?

No. RingConn does not charge a monthly fee for the core app. The Partner assistant is a beta you apply for, not a paid tier this page is describing. Check availability in the UK before you count on the chat.

Does it measure blood pressure?

No. RingConn says it does not provide blood pressure measurement or a medical diagnosis. The vascular card is a trend after a cuff calibration. For a cuff on the wrist, read the Huawei Watch D3 review.

How does Gen 3 compare with Gen 2?

Gen 2 was £259 and Gen 3 was £309 on 26 October 2026. Gen 3 adds the vibration alert and the vascular trend generation, on RingConn's pages. Gen 2 Air at £179 is the thinner, cheaper ring. Size either one with the kit made for that model.

Can I swim with it?

RingConn rates it IP68 and 10 ATM, and says it is not for diving or high-pressure water. Match your swimming to that wording. Leave it off in a sauna or hot tub.

Does it work with an iPhone?

The Amazon listing describes an iOS and Android app. You still need the RingConn account, and the app is 18 and over.
